Job Summary:
Harvest Point Academy is seeking a faith-driven Early Childhood Summer Camp Teacher to lead a Christ-centered, fun-filled summer program for young children (ages 2-5). This role involves creating engaging activities that foster spiritual, social, and cognitive development in a nurturing and joyful environment. The teacher will integrate biblical principles into daily routines while ensuring a safe and enriching summer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Faith-Based Instruction & Nurturing Environment
- Create a loving, Christ-centered atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged.
- Integrate Bible stories, prayer, worship songs, and Christian values into daily camp activities.
- Encourage kindness, sharing, and Christ-like character development through group interactions and storytelling.
Summer Camp Activities & Program Development

Job Title: Infant Teacher

Job Summary:
The Infant Teacher at Harvest Point Academy is responsible for providing a loving, faith-filled environment where infants (typically ages 12 weeks to 12 months) can grow and develop. This role supports early childhood development through age-appropriate activities while nurturing spiritual growth by integrating Christian values and teachings. The Infant Teacher ensures the safety, well-being, and emotional security of each child, fostering a Christ-centered atmosphere of love and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Faith-Based Care & Development
- Provide a nurturing and Christ-centered environment where infants feel safe, loved, and valued as children of God.
- Incorporate Christian teachings into daily routines through prayer, songs, and Bible-based stories.
- Demonstrate Christian character and model Christ’s love through words, actions, and interactions with infants and families.
- Encourage early language development with faith-based music, reading, and engaging verbal interactions.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Health & Safety

All volunteers will be required to undergo a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers.
Key Responsibilities:
Camp Activity Support
- Assist with planning, organizing, and leading faith-based camp activities, such as arts and crafts, outdoor games, music, and Bible study.
- Supervise campers during structured activities and unstructured free time to ensure they are safe and engaged.
- Assist with classroom management or group activities, ensuring that campers stay on task and have fun.
- Help set up and clean up for activities, keeping camp areas organized and ready for use.
Faith-Based Engagement & Mentorship

Key Responsibilities:
Camp Support & Assistance
- Assist with organizing and leading camp activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
- Help supervise campers during free play, lunch, and other transitions to ensure safety and engagement.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to younger campers, modeling Christian values like kindness, patience, and respect.
- Work alongside camp staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation throughout the day.
- Provide support in setting up and cleaning up for activities, ensuring camp areas are ready for use.
